Benjamin Cha is the CEO of property company Grosvenor Asia Pacific, which he has led since 2014. In Asia since 1994, it is part of a company that has been around for nearly three and a half centuries, and that was responsible for creating central London’s posh Mayfair district.

Personally, however, Cha is best known for his indefatigable support of Hong Kong’s artists and cultural institutions. He has been on the board of the Asia Art Archive since 2004, stepping up to the role of co-chair in 2018, with a focus on fundraising and organisational development.

He is on the board of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority and the M+ museum, as well as the advisory committee of Tai Kwun, and was previously a member of the Tate Asia Pacific Acquisitions Committee. He is also a trustee of research and education organisation the Urban Land Institute.

Married to Ann, Benjamin Cha has two sons, Owen and Casper, and a daughter, Morgan.
