Kristine Li is taking her family firm, Henderson Land, into some innovative places

Kristine Li is the deputy general manager of the portfolio leasing department for Henderson Land, in charge of the property giant’s commercial property holdings. She spearheaded the development of H Queen’s, the innovative tower in Hong Kong’s Central district that opened in 2018; designed specifically with art galleries in mind, it hosts the likes of Pearl Lam Galleries, Hauser & Wirth, David Zwirner, Ora-Ora, Pace, Whitestone and Tang Contemporary.

Li is also the founder of Henderson’s Hart non-profit initiative, which runs the Hart Haus creative incubator and the community arts supporting Hart Foundation. She is a member of the executive committee Urban Land Institute, and a member of The Y.Elites Association, Hong Kong Pei Hua Education Foundation, and Union Hospital Charity Program.

The eldest granddaughter of Henderson founder Lee Shau-kee, she worked in investment banking before joining the family company. Kristine Li was named in 2016 as Tatler’s Most Promising Young Woman.
