The eldest son of Hong Kong’s number one tycoon, Li Ka-shing, Victor TK Li has taken on the somewhat awe-inspiring task of attempting to follow in his father’s footsteps. In 2018 he took over as the chairman and managing director of CK Asset Holdings Limited, and as the chairman and group co-managing director of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited. He is also the Chairman of CK Infrastructure Holdings Limited and CK Life Sciences Int’l, (Holdings) Inc.

The CK Group has investments and operations in over 50 countries, and employs around 360,000 staff worldwide. It is one of Hong Kong's most diverse conglomerates, with business interests in property and hotels, retail and manufacturing, infrastructure and energy, ports and related services, telecommunications and life sciences.

Li started his career running the company’s Husky Energy business in Canada, and, after returning to Hong Kong to work at Cheung Kong headquarters in 1990, he quickly rose through the ranks of the Group's management and that of its many subsidiaries.

Victor TK Li is also the deputy chairman of the Li Ka Shing Foundation, which was established by Li Ka-shing in 1980. To date, Mr Li has invested over HK$30 million in projects covering education, medical services, charity and anti-poverty programmes.

He is also a non-executive director of Power Assets Holdings Limited, a non-executive director and the deputy chairman of HK Electric Investments Limited. A member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, he is also vice chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.
