The setting and decor is quite modern with well-spaced tables, comfortable semi-private seating booths and private rooms. The tabletop is quite elegant with patterned tablecloths, polished silverware and white chinaware. The restaurant is a bit on the loud side so not recommended for a romantic lunch or dinner. 

For lunchtime, there is a nice selection of dim sum on the bill of fare with many Cantonese favourites. A good selection of dim sum including the Jinyue shrimp dumplings, steamed barbecued pork buns, beef balls with morel mushrooms, pan fried pork dumplings, Shanghai dumplings, deep fried durian pastry and the shrimp’s dumplings with pork and crabmeat. The Jinyue shrimp dumplings are excellent, featuring large juicy prawns with a thin coating – it’s certainly one of the best in town. The beef ball with morel was tasty while the steamed barbecued pork buns are wonderful. Both the pan-fried pork dumplings and Shanghai dumplings were equally good, both presented well, served hot and true to its roots. The signature dish of shrimp dumplings with pork and crabmeat is crispy and delicious while the braised chicken with fresh abalone and fish maw in clay pot is made for four or six persons so perfect for a family or a group of friends. 

Not a great choice of wines but if you are looking for expensive and high end Bordeaux wines such as Chateau Lafite, Chateau Latour and Chateau Petrus then this is the place to go. There is also a good selection of teas that can be found here.

The majority of the staff looks well groomed, efficient and very professional ensuring a competent and good service. 

Selection of dim sum from the vast menu would set you back around MOP500 for two and double that for dinner.
