A chic space with a focus on nature and a menu primed for vegans and vegetarians
Breathing new life into the concept of plant-based dining in Hong Kong, chef Tina Barrat’s Soho-based Ma and the Seeds of Life is not just for vegans. The menu— which eschews meat, dairy and processed foods—presents creative plant-based alternatives to culinary classics, including the “Chiaviar”, made with chia seed and cashew sour cream or the signature “Faux- Gras” served tatin-style alongside roasted apple and gingerbread. As well as their plant-based dishes, which are as aesthetically pleasing as they are great-tasting, Ma offers a selection of vegan and low-alcohol wines, along with a creative cocktail and mocktail menu.
