Hong Kong has no shortage of yakiniku restaurants, but Nikushou stands out with its erudite selection of beef breeds as well as specific cuts, which are cooked by staff at your table. Yakiniku is just part of the story though, as the starters and sides, such as sashimi, bouzushi (fish pressed over rice) and kamameshi (rice with toppings cooked in an iron pot) are stars in their own right, and change constantly according to the seasons.
