Spiga

A stylish design, expansive wine list and contemporary takes on Italian classics are found at Spiga

Famed chef Enrico Bartolini does what he does best in his first
Hong Kong outpost—elegant, modern interpretations of classic Italian fare. Unadventurous diners will be satisfied with the plentiful pasta and pizza options, but it’s the appetisers and secondi where Bartolini really flexes his creative muscles. Case in point, the beef tartare—elevated with generous shavings of black truffle, and Jerusalem artichoke
chips for a satisfying crunch. The perfectly grilled rib-eye proves that less is so often more, served largely unadorned alongside ginger-glazed shallots and crispy potato terrine. Get a forkful of all three for
a gloriously rich texture. The gorgeous interior is a reflection of what’s on the plate—a contemporary, reimagined take on a vintage Italian cinema—but the well-curated wine list extends far beyond the borders of L’Italia.
