The Chinnery

British   |   $ $ $ $   |   Central

We revisit the classic British restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental, and fall in love with its sticky toffee pudding

The Chinnery represents a throwback to old Hong Kong with its elegant service, seemingly untouched interiors and classic menu of food and drink. Whether a champagne cocktail or Old Fashioned, fish and chips or glass of Chianti, the Mandarin Oriental approach and more than 40 years of experience ensures that everything is perfectly on point. Don’t expect cutting edge mixology or theatrical food presentation, but do go for the resolutely reliable and charming reminder of what places like these used to be like.
