The Continental

European   |   $ $ $ $   |   Admiralty

Swire’s The Continental encapsulates the beauty of dining in a stylish venue, where sumptuous selection of seafood and meaty mains play a central role

Refreshed in late summer of 2021, this grand cafe feels even more polished than before—with a more muted, earthy tone that suggests an understated luxury. The Continental’s new chef Graham Long (a Gordon Ramsay alum) puts out a solid offering of refined brasserie dishes with contemporary flair, such as devilled Japanese mackerel with Yunnan potato salad, watercress and buttermilk, and classic beef tartare with confit egg yolk and celeriac, pear and sweet mustard. A fabulous place for any time of day, easily suited for business breakfasts as well as happy hour.

Signature Dishes

  • Confit duck and foie gras terrine with sweet wine jelly
  • ‘Pecan pie’ crème caramel

Tatler Tip

Looking for al fresco options? The Continental has an expansive and airy terrace where patrons can dine—or enjoy a generous happy hour— surrounded by lush greenery.
