We decided to do things differently for this soirée, so we took to the sea—quite literally. The Hong Kong Tatler Scions Party will be held on board Crystal Symphony, one of the Crystal Cruises fleet—a Genting Group subsidiary. 

Tied to the theme of Hong Kong scions, our May 2019 cover star, Loui Lim is son of Malaysian-Chinese billionaire Lim Kok Thay, the chairman of Genting Group. Loui is now executive vice-president of new ship designs for Genting Cruise Lines (which includes Star Cruises, Dream Cruises, and the ultra-luxury Crystal Cruises) and vice-president of leisure and hospitality for Genting Malaysia’s land-based resorts.

The 238-metre ship is arguably one of the most luxurious cruise liners in the world, and in Travel + Leisure's World's Best 2018 Awards, Crystal Symphony was voted the #2 Large Ocean Cruise Line.

The dress code for the Hong Kong Tatler Scions Party is Nautical Glam, so put on your sailor caps and rock those stripes like it's your job, honey.

To date, over 150 of Hong Kong's most prominent movers and shakers have RSVP'ed to the Hong Kong Tatler Scions Party.
