Asia's Most Wanted: Thailand's Most Eligible Ladies

August 7, 2017 | BY Hong Kong Tatler

Editors of the Asia Tatler titles scoured the region to find them—the sort of jet-setting, merger-making, brainy beauties that any man (or woman) would fawn over. But between managing funds and running hotels, restaurants and fashion empires, as well as being philanthropists and politicians, these high-flying singletons barely touch the ground. They are undoubtedly the most swipe-right of city slickers, stars and socialites, but the question is: can anyone pin them down?

See Asia's Most Wanted by country:

China | Hong Kong | Indonesia | Malaysia | Philippines | Singapore | Taiwan | Thailand

Boonyapha Bencharongkul

The daughter of telecoms mogul Boonchai, Boonyapha runs the Museum of Contemporary Art in Bangkok. She’s a fervent supporter of Thai artists and works hard to project the country’s art scene onto the international arena.

NATURAL HABITAT: Besides her role at the museum, Boonyapha loves a good party, and she’s often spotted attending—or hosting—Bangkok’s coolest bashes.

Chitpas Kridakorn

A driving force on Thailand’s political scene, Chitpas is heiress to the Singha beer empire but adopted her mother’s surname to become spokesperson for the Democrat Party and, later, leader of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee. Beauty with a large side of brains, then.

Nalinee Worawongwasu

The fashionista is the mastermind behind multi-brand concept store Beige. She’s also the distributor for Lulu Guinness and Charlotte Olympia.

HUSTLE:When she’s not sourcing new designers, she’s helping her brother with managing their family-owned Aetas hotel group.

Her aunt Patravadi Mejudhon is a well-known actress, while her mother, Supapan, is one of Thailand’s most remarkable businesswomen. Natapree currently manages Chao Phraya Express Boat, the Tha Maharaj riverside mall, the Riva Surya boutique hotel and Supatra River House restaurant.

DEB CRED: Natapree is the only member of Thailand’s high society to have been presented at Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris.
