If you follow us on Instagram (@hongkongtatler), you might have seen us teasing #HKTatlerScions over the last few weeks.

This May, we revealed our inaugural Scions issue celebrating power, influence and legacy by featuring the sons and daughters of some of Hong Kong’s most prominent families—all of whom have worked hard to make their own unique mark on the city.

Eleanor Lam

Known affectionately to her friends as "Elly", Eleanor Lam graduated from Pepperdine University, was presented at Le Bal des Débutantes in 2014 and is now an assistant vice-president at her father Peter Lam’s company, the entertainment powerhouse Media Asia. In recent years, she's made a name for herself as one of the city's most prominent fashionistas. She is a regular at fashion and charity events around the world, and never fails to make the best-dressed lists. 

There's no doubt she's a star on the rise, often seen at some of the most exclusive events—including the highly coveted Victoria's Secret fashion show in Shanghai—and is a regular at Coachella as she loves returning to LA, the home of her alma mater.

Calvin Wang

"We've been given so much, it's important to me that I'm able to give that back to others," says Calvin Wang. Thoughtful and with a relentless passion for art, fashion and literature, he hopes to inspire local and international communities. He's the co-founder of the agency Banck Creative and captures moments on his travels on his photography page, Fountainhead Photography—named after the 1943 novel by Ayn Rand, of course.

A fixture on the social scene, Feiping is a fashion and beauty influencer—she currently has the world's top fashion and beauty brands scrambling to get her endorsement—who made international headlines for her lavish Capri wedding in 2017. 

She has stolen hearts around the world for her effortlessly elegant fashion sense, down-to-earth personality and of course, her adorable poodle Pumpkin.

Antonia Li

More than just a pretty face, Antonia Li is making a difference in the world as a member of the fundraising committee of Changing Young Lives Foundation and as the ambassador of the Hong Kong Ballet Ball

The entrepreneur founded local creative agency Indicube, which was sold to a Beijing-based MNC. Today, she spends her time focusing on philanthropy, fitness—she is an avid fan of trail running, boxing, pilates—and spending time with her beloved toy poodle, Casper.

Jonathan Cheung—or "JC" as he is more widely known—is the co-founder of public relations powerhouse, Buzz Agency. A passionate patron of the arts, JC is a supporter of the HKAPA and Tate’s Asia-Pacific Acquisitions Committee, and recently hosted an intimate cocktail reception for the Tate International Council at The China Club to honour Maria Balshaw, director of Britain's Tate Museums. His next stop? Venice Biennale.

René Chu

When she couldn't find the sunglasses she was looking for, René tapped into her entrepreneurial spirit and took matters into her own hands and founded what is now the wildly popular sunglasses label, Revé by René. With unique touches ranging from cheeky cat ears and unicorn horns to customisable magnetic lettering, René encourages individuality and self-expression that you can wear.
