We speak to the rising model who's taking the Hong Kong fashion world by storm

“One of the things I love most about Hong Kong is that there is so much good food,” exclaims 19-year-old Irisa Wong. It’s not quite what you’d expect to hear from an aspiring model, but free-spirited Irisa isn’t your typical clothes horse. With striking features and an enviably tiny frame, it’s no surprise that the younger sister of Kayla is following in the footsteps of their supermodel mother, Janet Ma, with recent campaigns for Levi’s and Damiani jewellery. Ironically, however, she never wanted to be a model. “When I was younger people would always ask if I wanted to model like my mother and I would tell them no; I wanted to be a cashier lady,” jokes Irisa, who loves playing golf and watching films in her downtime. Since then she’s been presented with numerous opportunities she couldn’t turn down and is a natural in front of the lens. No doubt the next time we see her will be on the runways of Paris and New York.
