A PR agency forgot to invite one of a fashion label’s most prominent long-time clients to the brand’s recent event. He’s connected to a number of the city’s VIPs and is often associated with the brand, so his absence was either a disastrous oversight or a calculated snub. Tsk tsk.
This couple aren’t as sociable as they used to be, partly because his star is on the wane. But some hosts have stopped inviting them because they insist on knowing who they’ll be sitting with and where at dinner.

This young lady is fast developing a bad rep for insisting that she keep items of clothing, shoes and jewellery lent to her for red-carpet appearances. While some of the brands are happy to let their treasures go, others have blacklisted her.
A bumpy landing
Which tycoon was spotted misbehaving on a Cathay Pacific flight recently, ignoring the cabin crew’s repeated instructions to sit down for landing until one had to gently guide the cheerful billionaire back to his seat and buckle him up? You might make the rules when you fly private, but you have to play nice when you don’t.
