Laura Derry and Yolanda Choy-Tang, co-founders of Eco Drive, gathered friends and VIPs for a private screening of the gripping documentary, A Plastic Ocean

Eco Drive, a local group founded by Laura Derry, Yolanda Choy-Tang, Claire Yates, Tansy Lau-Tom, Sherry Fung and Julie Lee, organised a private screening of A Plastic Ocean at The Haven, an event space that hosts travel-related exhibitions and art shows launched by Jacada Travel.

Eco Drive aims to support environmental NGOs, such as the Plastic Oceans Foundation, by building awareness through its volunteer network in order to take action and address issues caused by plastic pollution.

VIPs and friends of Laura and Yolanda gathered to watch Craig Leeson's documentary that explores the startling amount of plastic pollution in the world’s oceans. The screening was followed by a lively panel discussion about the issue of plastic in Hong Kong, and what people can do to help alleviate the problem.
