A look at the Chopard Red Carpet Collection

Last week was the 70th anniversary of the world renowned Cannes Film Festival, where our chairman Michel Lamunière and CrazyRouge were reporting live from the red carpet. It also marked the 20th anniversary of Chopard's enduring collarboration with the festival—the high jewellery maison has been serving as Official Partner of the Cannes Film Festival since 1998.

This long-standing union first began on May 23, 1998 when the acting president of the festival at the time personally requested the co-President of Chopard, Caroline Scheufele, to redesign the iconic Palme d’Or award.

To celebrate 20 incredible years of partnership, Chopard has once again unveiled the Red Carpet Collection, featuring 70 new jewelled creations for the Festival’s 70th anniversary. First introduced in 2007 to mark the 60th anniversary, the collection is a modern and audacious interpretation of classic red carpet favourites. If you’re a Ri-Ri fan, they also showcased the highly anticipated new Rihanna Loves Chopard Haute Joaillerie Collection at Cannes.

Academy Award-winning actress Charlize Theron dazzled in a full set of earrings, bracelet, ring and watch, all from the Garden of Kalahari Collection in 18 carat white Fairmined gold fully set with diamonds.

Kendall Jenner practically floated in her romantic white gown while flaunting one of the Red Carpet Collection earrings in 18 carat white gold set with diamonds.

Petra Nemcova walked down the carpet in a midnight blue gown with a matching Red Carpet Collection bracelet in 18 carat white gold set with sapphires and diamonds.

Michelle Yeoh looked stunning in the Red Carpet Collection necklace in 18 carat white gold and titanium featuring a black opal, spinels, sapphires, diamonds, opals, tsavorites and amethysts. And we can't neglect to mention her figure-fitting black and white gown.

A vision in a new outfit of white, Petra Nemcova wore a dazzling set of earrings and a matching necklace from the Red Carpet Collection. Both feature a 18 carat yellow gold base set with yellow and white diamonds.

Model Liu Wen was decked out in a bold red gown, which she paried with earrings and a necklace from the High Jewellery Collection in 18 carat white gold set with 39.97 carats of diamonds.
