Messy hair, a sun kissed glow and the sound of waves–we were instantly transported to those post-summer days thanks to Ports 1961. The brand's classic tailoring was on display with obscure hems and draping layers.

Rather out of the ordinary were figure-hugging designs amongst the oversized pieces, and endless fringed accessories with heavy wooden beads. Colourful laced sneakers will be top of the Ports wish list.

As one of Britain's most successful designers, it was no surprise that he continued to provide us with plenty of sartorial stimulation this season—particularly in the oh-so pirate chic headscarves that adorned every model on the catwalk, decorated with a gold interlocking loop.

Layering was key, with midi skirts worn over trousers and shorter risqué dresses over floor-sweeping ones. Anderson took us on a whole other journey when it came to accessories and details, with lime green or red cowboy boots and chainmail tops. 

During the throws of London Fashion Week, celebrated Italian brand Tod's launched its luxury Sloane apartment in the heart of Knightsbridge, offering a new dimension to the Tod's experience, this was a new boutique concept design by architect India Mahdavi.

The iconic Tod's Gommino bag also had a special makeover in celebration of the event, featuring an exclusive design that merges Mahdavi’s sensual aesthetic with soft coloured backgrounds in a graphic mesh of leather and velvet.

What better way to take a break from the hustle and bustle of London Fashion Week, than to have afternoon tea with two of fashion's favourites—Susie and Tina? Hosted at the brand new Matches Fashion Townhouse in Carlos Place, it was time to feast our eyes on the duo’s specially-curated AW18 style edit.

Some of the fabulous pieces that were on show included Sies Marjan, Halpern, Richard Quinn and Balenciga. Other fashionistas that popped in for a fashion fix were Caroline Issa and Bryan Boy.

Everything we know and love about Simone Rocha plus a whole lot more was showcased at the beautiful Lancaster House. As one of the most highly anticipated designers of London Fashino Week, it's always a joy to see what she has in store for us season after season.

Her Chinese heritage was a high point of inspiration in her beautifully crafted designs, particularly royal images from the Tang Dynasty with alongside concentrated hues of pillarbox red. Lace veils provided an air of mystery to the looks, while keeping a sense of modernity with billowing bell sleeves, cinched waists and layers of sheet tulle. 

It was time to head over to Polynesian restaurant Trader Vics, where we were transported to a magical tropical paradise surrounded by bamboo shoots and Tiki carvings.

The collection couldn’t have been better suited to the venue, as it featured botanical prints, feminine silhouettes and a medley of rainbow colours. It was a fun and flirty collection that had us dreaming of long summers sipping pina coladas whilst being draped in layers of colourful tulle and glitter.

After images surfaced of Victoria Beckham showing off her best moves on top of a sofa to "Spice Up Your Life", it was a fun surprise to see a fresh-faced and immaculately dressed Victoria hosting a private breakfast at Annabel's Mayfair on Monday morning, after celebrating ten years in fashion with a show followed by a party hosted by Vogue the night before.

She showcased her top looks straight off the runway for a handful of fashionistas, enjoying the morning sun in the garden of Annabel's. Victoria is our go-to when it comes to crisp white shirts, tapered trousers and now ( as seen in almost 10 different colours) the soft leather flat boot. Oh, and lets not forget the oversized bag perched gently on ones hip. 

Set in the beautiful Sackler gallery of the Royal Academy , futuristic tones were already made evident by the abundance of neon lights, with a different colour for each room. The collection is a collaboration with Chinese artist Vivien Zhang with sherbert tones and the use of feathers, organza and ruffles which added a touch of femininity.

Pleats and pearls were also evident, which we have become accustomed to seeing when it comes to Huishans designs. I very much appreciated the large agate single earring, which added an extra dimension of texture. 

To close another London Fashion Week, it was time to head to our night at the museum. Stephanie Phair, Caroline Rush and Xia Ding hosted a cocktail to celebrate JD.com's ongoing support of to the British Fashion Council/Vogue designer fashion fund at The National Gallery.

With China being the world's second largest consumer and luxury market, and with increased interest from Chinese consumers in British designers, the partnership allowed the BFC to help talent engage with the Chinese market. It was a chance to unwind and celebrate London fashion whilst enjoying a private viewing of some of the most exquisite art on show.
