From Ralph Lauren’s 1920s club night to Pyer Moss’ epic soulful moment to Prabal Gurung’s emotional show and Tommy Hilfiger x Zendaya 70s Harlem extravaganza, here are 11 of our favourite moments from New York Fashion Week spring 2020.

Celebrating Coach Originals

Coach's pop-up shop on Madison Avenue celebrated the brand’s 78 year legacy in leather craftsmanship. Guests included Lucky Blue, Mae Tan, Marina Testino, Alexandre Assouline, Fernanda Ly.

Ralph’s Club

Ralph Lauren’s Art Deco inspired Ralph’s Club in downtown New York celebrated the brand’s fall 2019 collection. Janelle Monae entertained the guests and bought the house down with her rendition of jazzy rendition of ‘Fly Me To The Moon.’

The Alexander Wang Party

No New York Fashion Week would be complete without an Alex Wang party. Wang did not disappoint this season by collaborating with Bvlgari to celebrate the launch of the ‘Serpenti Through the Eyes of Wang' capsule collection. Inspired by the 80s movie Mannequin, Wang wanted the party to feel like you were let loose in a department store after dark.

Midnight00

Influencer and street style favourite Ada Kokosar hosted an intimate cocktail party to celebrate New York Fashion Week with some of best dressed ladies in town.

Guests literally rushed after a late show in Harlem across the Brooklyn Bridge to get to Pyer Moss’ epic show where a full gospel choir with an eight-piece band added ambience to this important show that was about much more than clothes. The collection told the story about forgotten history in America and how important it is to remember the stories of black people and their contributions to American culture.

Rihanna Savage x Fenty Puma Show

Move over Victoria's Secret, there is a new lingerie queen in town and her name is Rihanna. No one was allowed to take any photos or post on social media—and that would be because of Queen Riri’s Amazon deal, which means the show will be streamed online Sep. 20 so you will just have to take our word on how amazing the show was. I mean with DJ Khaled. Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Fat Joe, Halsey all performing, Fenty is fast becoming the hottest ticket in town.

Going Underground With Tom Ford

In true Mr Ford style, he bought the luxe back down to true New York grit. Guests all gathered at Chinese restaurant Nom Wah Tea Parlour before being ushered down dingy stairs to the abandoned Bowery subway station. Seeing Anna Wintour on a subway platform has got to be worth a New York moment, no!?

Ezra Williams' 30th Birthday Party

Could Ezra be the new must go to party in town? The restaurant owner and influencer threw a 30th birthday party at Butterfly in Soho that featured a Lil Kim performance and a guest list that included Paris and Nicky Hilton, Prabal Gurung, Laura Kim, Fernando Garcia, Susie Lau, and Tina Leung. We hope he turns 30 again next year because this party can’t just be a one-off.

Deveaux New York

Street style photographer Tommy Ton turned creative director for New York brand Deveaux, showing his runway collection super early on a Sunday. Everyone walked out with a spring in their step and full of bright optimism after seeing gorgeous clothes worn by beautiful models backed by a band playing soulful hits.

Grilled cheese at Carolina’s Diner

The most elegant diner in town was open for the night care of Carolina Herrera at Three Guys Diner to celebrate the Wes Gordon’s Carolina Herrera show and the house’s new store on corner of Madison Avenue. Ballgowns and burgers a la Carolina Herrera—tres chic!
