Every two years, some of the finest watchmakers create one-of-a-kind timepieces that will go under the hammer at the Only Watch 2019 charity auction for research on Duchenne muscular dystrophy

The eighth edition of the Only Watch 2019 charity auction will feature 50 unique watches and tour the world in October, including stops at The Hour Glass in Singapore (25 – 26 October) and Christie’s in Hong Kong (28 – 29 October), before the actual auction on 9 November 2019 at the Four Seasons Hôtel des Bergues in Geneva.

For a taste of what to expect, here’s a look 13 unique Only Watch pieces that luxury watch companies have donated to the auction.

1/13Patek Philippe

Patek Philippe’s contribution is the exceptional Grandmaster Chime with 20 complications that boasts two dials in rose gold and black ebony.

7/13Girard-Perregaux

The Laureato Absolute Chronograph is dressed up in lightweight black PVD titanium case with shades of blue on the dial, pushers and strap.

8/13Louis Vuitton

The Louis Vuitton 2019 Escale Spin Time boasts the tattoo art of a rose created by hand by famed enameller Anita Porchet.

11/13Ulysse Nardin

The Exo-Skeleton X from Ulysse Nardin features a skeleton dial with four markers forming an ‘X’. Flexible double blades attached to the case and lugs allow movement between the lug bar and the case for a more comfortable fit on the wrist.
