5 Best Lash Extension Boutiques In Hong Kong
1/5 Suavislash Couture
Best for: The bespoke treatment
There's nothing generic about Suavislash Couture, deemed the most luxurious eyelash salon in The Landmark, where it is fittingly situated in shopping centre's new beauty and wellness space. If you’re seeking a highly exclusive setting, look no further than this studio’s completely private salon rooms, themed Black or White. For the woman on the go, the convenient location makes Suavislash Couture an ideal option for a lunch-time touch up or mid-day beauty nap (or both!).
Suavislash Couture takes its commitment to safety very seriously. "We send all our staff to train in Japan,” says co-founder Noel Chan. “And the basis of our company is founded on Japanese training systems and techniques."
Suavislash has also developed its own training academy in Hong Kong, from which it’s developed three bespoke techniques: “classic”, which produces a clean and tidy look; “volume”, for a distinctly more dramatic look; and “mix”, a hybrid of the first two. From these techniques, clients have six more style options to find that exact look.

Best for: The spa experience
Resting above Lan Kwai Fong, Cerynne will usher you into a dimension of calm not normally found in Hong Kong. The name Cerynne, says owner Lucine Zhu, is a play on the word “serene”, which Zhu hopes to achieve with every aspect of her studio, from decor to services.
“We may be the least commercialised beauty salon in Hong Kong,” she says. “We'd like our clients to relax and truly get back to themselves in a peaceful environment while they enjoy a quality service at the same time.”
Cerynne focused on nails exclusively when it opened last year, but the eyelash and micro-blading services that were introduced later have since become the studio’s most popular services—though many appreciate being able to get their lashes and nails done at the same time. Their silky, long-lasting and lightweight lashes come from Matsukaze and Miss Eye D'or, the top two eyelash brands in Japan.

3/5 Xtreme Lashes
Best for: Extreme volume
Developed by Jo Mouselli, a registered nurse from the US, Xtreme Lashes has become one of America's most recognised lash extension brands thanks to its medical-grade adhesives and a full line of branded aftercare and makeup products.
The elegant studio set up shop in the heart of Central in 2016 and combines American comfort with Asian hospitality, with a reception area larger than most salons in Hong Kong. A one-stop-shop for all things lash, Xtreme Lashes has developed everything from its own specially formulated rejuvenating makeup remover to its high-impact, vitamin-fortified mascara, all of which promise to help extend the life of your lashes and make them easier to maintain.
"We are continually launching new products," says Rainbow Tai, director of the Hong Kong studio. "We take customer feedback very seriously when developing our products and they help us to improve." For the latest in eyelash technology, you'll want to check out the services at Xtreme Lashes.

NovaLash takes the meaning of "set it and forget it" to a whole new level with their instantly waterproof and oil proof lashes. And with certified stylists in 43 countries, clients can easily get their lashes touched up wherever their travels take them. At their Hong Kong studio, NovaLash features spacious private service rooms designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. Clients can choose from two services including the popular American Volume for a thicker, fuller look, or Classic for a lighter, more natural appearance.
"As soon as the appointment is finished, our clients can immediately shower or even have a steam facial," explains Cynthia Cheng, owner of the Hong Kong outlet, who notes that other lashes can require 24-48 hours to set. Have a specific skincare regimen? Cheng shares that since their branded lashes can withstand oil-based products, clients won’t have to alter their beauty routine.
Aside from the instant wearability of these lashes, another reason to love the brand is the durability of the adhesive which lasts up to four weeks, requiring fewer touchups.

5/5 Kesalan Patharan
Best for: The girl next door look
Established in Japan in 1987, Kesalan Patharan is a known name to Japanese beauty and skincare aficionados in Hong Kong. The company opened its first Hong Kong-based cosmetic shop in 2002 before introducing eyelash extension services four years later, and now has three locations in Causeway Bay, Central and Tsim Sha Tsui.
"[Our] most popular service is definitely the Eyelash Designing Service," says brand marketing manager Jenny Lo. Kesalan Patharan's series of specialised lash products also give customers access to professional-grade yet user-friendly items that help them cope with any of their beauty needs.
Lo shares that many of Kesalan Patharan's clients choose the studio because it uses certified materials from Japan and for the natural look its trained specialists are able to create. "It's loved by the general public," she says, "who are seeking a non-exaggerated way to wear lashes in their daily lives."
