Famed New York jeweller and watchmaker Tiffany & Co brings its latest creations to a first-of-its-kind watch pop-up in Hong Kong Tiffany & Co, the jeweller that recently turned heads with its Lady Gaga campaign, is catching headlines again with its pop-up watch salon, open from 14 til 24 September at its shop at Elements Hong Kong. This is the first time that Tiffany & Co has opened a Watch Concept Salon, which apart from displaying its latest and greatest watch collections, aims to bring the brand’s fans closer to its watchmaking heritage. “We want to tell our story, to let them know what we are doing,” says Nicola Andreatta, the vice-president and general manager of Tiffany Swiss Watch Co. “It’s a great opportunity to promote a different face of Tiffany–the watchmaker. We’re not just a jeweller making watches–we have an expertise in watchmaking that goes back 100 years.  It’s part of who we are, but not a lot of people know that.” In fact, Tiffany & Co has been producing watches since 1847, just a decade after Charles Lewis Tiffany opened the first Tiffany store. After creating its first stopwatch, the Tiffany Timer, in 1868, it opened a watch factory in Geneva, Switzerland. Since then, the company has produced many different timepieces and innovations, a few of which have been revived in modern collections. Here are the five watches that you should not miss:

1. Tiffany Square Watch

A tribute to Tiffany & Co’s 180th birthday, the Tiffany Square Watch is a limited-edition timepiece boasting the brand’s first in-house hand-wound calibre. The timepiece’s intricacy is fully revealed via the transparent sapphire crystal caseback. Featuring cathedral-styled hour and minute hands on its clean dial, the watch exudes a sense of classic luxury with art deco touches inspired by the interiors of the brand’s 1920s salon. Available in a limited edition of 180 pieces worldwide, the watch is housed in a 27mm case in 18-carat yellow gold.

2. Tiffany Metro

The CT60™ is a men’s watch inspired by founder Charles Lewis Tiffany who famously phrased the “New York minute” which epitomises the energy of the ever-pulsating city and the endless possibilities in 60 seconds. The possibilities also apply to the watch’s design – as the pop-up salon now offers an exclusive customisation service, in which customers can personalise their CT60™ watch by choosing from a variety of watch dials, cases, case backs and straps. Engraving on the dial, case and case back can also be arranged.  The whole customisation process is overseen by an on-site watch specialist, with immediate visual simulation rendered by an iPad app, allowing customers to envision their favourite timepiece, which can be realised and delivered in just six weeks.

4. Tiffany East West Mini
