Harris Chan: Creative Director of Moiselle
Fashion is in Harris Chan’s blood. His parents started women’s clothing label Moiselle in 1997, featuring high-end luxury brands and unique, hand-made designs. But Chan’s given the brand a youthful makeover and made it his own since becoming Creative Director in 2009—his fresh and innovative collections are a favourite of the local glitterati.
When he’s not gracing international fashion shows, he’s the face of media campaigns for luxury brands like Tod’s.
René Chu: Founder of Revé by René
Chu’s unique style—think quirky cat ears and a bold aesthetic—quickly cemented her in the international fashion and design industry. Her glasses were sold in Colette, the authoritative Parisian boutique, just four months after being launched.
Tina Leung: Fashion blogger and stylist
Tina Leung surrounds herself with beautiful people and beautiful clothes. She’s renowned in Hong Kong for her lavish looks and stunning statement outfits. With pals as fashionable as her wardrobe (Bryanboy, one of the original influencers, is a close friend), she’s become a style sensation promoting for brands like Gucci and Tod’s.
Yen Kuok: CEO/Founder of Guiltless
Yen Kuok shook up the fashion world with her online store, Guiltless, which takes an ethical approach to fashion through selling a curated selection of pre-loved luxury items. Kuok believes in quality over quantity, and promotes eco-friendly and sustainable practices to end fast-fashion fads.
Joyce Lam: Co-Founder of Rue Gembon
Launched in 2013, Rue Gembon is the go-to for luxury jewellery online. Taking advantage of one of the fastest growing online markets, Joyce Lam presents curated collections of high-end fashion and statement jewellery pieces that have garnered global attention.
A minimalist aesthetic and quality materials have brought celebrity fans knocking, including Kendall Jenner, the Hadid sisters and Olivia Palermo.
Jonathan Cheung: Co-Founder of Buzz Agency
Jonathan Cheung, or JC to his friends, lives by the words "work hard, play harder". He is both the life of the party and the well-dressed entrepreneur who co-founded Buzz Agency, the event/PR firm that organises VIP parties for fashion brands in town. From Net-a-Porter to Prada, Cheung is changing the way we celebrate and connect to fashion, one luxe party at a time.
Dee Poon: Chief Brand Officer at PYE
Ever wondered where to get the perfect shirt? Dee Poon knows. Between textile manufacturing business Esquel and shirting specialist Pye, Poon is quickly building an apparel empire—and based on her recent collaborations with Cathay, it looks set to continue on from success to success.
Lois Tien: Brand Manager at Anagram
Her father founded workwear label G2000 in 1985, which completely altered the local landscape of professional clothing, so Lois Tien’s entrepreneurial spirit is not entirely a surprise. Currently the brand manager of her family-owned label, Anagram, she works with Hong Kong stores and boutiques to promote their chic, flirty collections.
Arne Eggers: Asia VP of Karla Otto
Formerly the fashion editor at Hong Kong Tatler, Arne Eggers sought out a different side of luxury fashion and delved into the world of PR. Now vice-president of the prestigious international PR firm Karla Otto in Asia, the fashion-savvy gent is working with brands like Chloe, Berluti and Moncler to connect fashion with the world.
Anais Mak: Fashion Designer
She’s drawn the attention of Italian Vogue and Rem Koolhaas, and was included in Fashion Asia 2016’s “Designers to Watch” list, so Anais Mak is naturally on our radar. The sharp silhouettes and subtly feminine flare of her fashion brand Jourden have made Mak’s clothes a favourite in the Hong Kong fashion scene.
