The culinary director of two Michelin-starred restaurant Amber invites Hong Kong Tatler into his kitchen, as he prepares two dishes of a delectable six-course meal he’s created exclusively for Blancpain’s Gala Dinner to celebrate a Metiers d’Art Exhibition held over two days on November 10 and 11. As Ekkebus talks us through his luscious menu, he tells us of the parallels between the exacting whilst highly creative worlds of watchmaking and gastronomy.
