Angie Ting on Her Beauty Regime
Cle De Peau Focus
The first day of high school can be as nerve-racking for mums and dads as it is for their kids. Like many other parents, Angie and Ivan Ting have just been through the excitement of the high school transition with their 12-year-old daughter. It’s been a learning experience for them all.
“It’s a new journey and we are exploring it together as a family,” she says. “We are definitely busier now as my daughter and my 10-year-old son both attend Chinese school as well, so my husband and I are constantly juggling our work schedules with their school timetables.”
Angie runs two businesses, both of which are based in San Francisco: Apple Park, which sells layette and other products—all made from organic materials—for babies and toddlers; and Organic Farm Buddies, a range of toys made from organic materials that are based on farm characters. “We only use organic cotton and other eco-friendly materials for our products. We source from suppliers that practise non-GMO farming,” she says. “I’m very proud of the fact that we are supporting organic farming and producing something that’s safe for children to enjoy.”
Given her busy schedule, there is little time for beauty treatments so Angie relies on quality products she can use at home to keep her skin looking radiant.
“I’m quite loyal in terms of the products that I like and which I think work well on my skin, and I’ve been using Clé de Peau Beauté for a while,” she says. Angie particularly likes the brand’s premium Synactif range, which targets the lymphatic system to eliminate toxins and get skin glowing.
“The products in the Synactif range do a wonderful job of revitalising your complexion, especially if you have tired and dry skin,” says Angie. “I especially like the cleansing soap and the Synactif cream. The soap foams easily and leaves my skin feeling very clean and refreshed, while the Synactif cream helps improve the contours of my face.”
Angie often has to travel to San Francisco for work and having a simple and effective skincare routine she can rely on means she has more time to spend with the family. “I’m very thankful that my kids are happy at school and for the many opportunities available for my businesses to grow,” says Angie. “It keeps me busy but there’s never a dull moment.”
