The opening of the pop-up store in Landmark follows the success of Hindmarch's "I Am A Plastic Bag" launch in 2020

Following the success of "I Am A Plastic Bag" launch in 2020, British designer Anya Hindmarch and her eponymous brand continue the campaign with an "I Am A Plastic Bag" pop-up store in Landmark Hong Kong.

The pop-up store will present an edit of the collection including totes featuring the "I Am A Plastic Bag" motif alongside a selection of phone pouches and card cases. New-season styles will also launch early and include mini versions of the tote and new rainbow print designers.

Personalisation service is also available for plain totes in two sizes where customers can monogram up to three initials.

Plastic bottles are also displayed in the store to demonstrate the serious ecological and environmental impacts caused by disposable plastic, to raise consumer awareness of the importance of waste reduction. All the bottles used for the installation will be recycled afterwards.

For this pop-up store launch, Anya Hindmarch has partnered with V Cycle, a local NGO dedicated to alleviating ecological pollution and poverty in Hong Kong. For each plastic water bottle collected and recycled at the store, Anya Hindmarch will donate HK$5 to V Cycle.

"I have been bowled over by the commitment and support to eliminate single-use plastic from our customers in Hong Kong and I wanted to amplify this with an 'I Am A Plastic Bag' pop-up," says Anya Hindmarch.

The "I Am A Plastic Bag" pop-up is available until April 28, 2022. You can visit the store at Shop 214B, Level 2, Landmark Central, Hong Kong.
