The newly opened shop takes over a corner of Landmark's third floor and is designed as an immersive experience that brings together an ever-evolving selection of premium beauty and wellness brands for the first time in Hong Kong. For the initial launch, a total of 28 brands is available, spanning a range of niche labels, established names, natural products, well-being formulas and much more. At Beauty Botanica, customers can find everything from skincare to haircare and CBD products as well as candles and perfumes all in one place.
"With Beauty Botanica, we want to give people a brand-new beauty shopping experience that can't be found anywhere else in Hong Kong," says Tom Andrews, assistant general manager, Hong Kong Land. "Our aim is to give customers a chance to discover exciting local and international brands and try innovative products all under one roof".
Aiming to be a leading go-to destination for beauty aficionados, Beauty Botanica houses several brands exclusively on the shop. Skincare brand, Lumi, which specialises in highly effective cruelty-free products with no parabens, mineral oils or artificial fragrances makes its debut in Hong Kong at Beauty Botanica. Fragrance label, Wildheart Organics also offers an exclusive experience to allow guests to create personalised home fragrances.
Beauty Botanica partners with Conscius for the Hong Kong retail debut of three niche online brands: Australia's The Kind Sunscreen is offering its all-natural, environmentally-safe sunscreen in the city for the first time, as well as Melyon's inclusive Swedish skincare products and 3rd Ritual's body products. In addition to that, Beauty Botanica also partners with Parfumerie Tresor to bring three boutique scent and soap brands to the space.
These include Senteurs d'Orient and Claus Porto, both offering a selection of handcrafted soaps while Nishane showcases unique and sophisticated fragrances. Other brands you may recognise at Beauty Botanica include Erno Laszlo and their 10 scientifically-driven hero products; Oribe and their award-winning haircare products; while MTM Labo is also bringing its signature customisable skincare solution and personal skin consultation to the newly-opened beauty space.
With sustainability, clean beauty and natural products becoming a trend in Hong Kong, a wealth of environmentally-friendly and socially conscious brands is also available at Beauty Botanica such as Monastery and its organic natural ingredients sourced from small farmers and Eir NYC's reef-safe, recyclable sunscreens. If you're looking for overall wellness, Beauty Botanica has that too. You can explore Mayde Tea's line of hand-blended, organic wellness teas—another first for Hong Kong. You can so try Reset's non-GMO, water-based CBD supplements.
The interior of Beauty Botanica has been designed to look and feel like a lush and sophisticated oasis inspired by a summer garden in bloom. Find yourself mesmerised at the verdant grassy areas, elegant floral arrangements and soft pastel shades of peach and pink as well as bespoke scent especially curated by Wildheart Organics. You can try products and chat with experts to find out which brand is best suited for your names among the plethora of choices available.
Alongside the exciting installations and brands, Beauty Botanica also has a "drop off" area so that customers can browse the market in comfort while their partners are entertained. Situated towards the back of the market area, the drop-off area is inspired by traditional gentleman's clubs with dark shades of browns and blacks and comfortable wingback chairs. The space allows partners to charge their phones, enjoy some music and indulge in seasonal drinks and cocktails by The Whisky Library of a coffee sponsored by illy.
