Berluti Launches New Ready-To-Wear Essentials Line With Brand Ambassador Eddie Peng
Berluti has launched its new Essentials Line starring brand ambassador Eddie Peng, showcasing the house's emblematic pieces. Peng is clad in Alessandro suit, matching with nylon B-Way jacket with Berluti logo crest motif and tapered trousers which accentuates his charismatic figure.
Conceived by creative director, Kris Van Assche, Peng's campaign outfit covers every corner of a man's wardrobe, sporting the Alessandro Démesure leather Oxford shoes—Berluti's very first lace-up shoe—which is made from a single piece of patinated Venezia leather and has no visible seams. Finally, a compact and timeless signature Canvas print Rider crossbody bag completes the ensemble and presents the uninhabited attitude of Eddie by the understated luxury of the house.
Inspired by Berluti's heritage and pared-down take on luxury, the new line distils the brand's core elements and puts a modern-day spin on luxury dressing, channelling the quintessential wardrobe of the Berluti man through its ready-to-wear pieces, shoes and leather goods. Among its many pieces, the first lace-up shoe is the highlight as Alessandro Berluti himself designed it back in 1895 and the house combined it with a loafer and an Oxford.
Other than the pieces that Peng wears for the campaign, tapered joggers, turtlenecks, leather jackets, sweatshirts and hoodies complete the new ready-to-wear line. Beyond comfortable clothing, straight-cut wool coats and single-breasted jackets and signature Berluti bags are also part of Essentials, standing out as the ultimate day-to-night outfit.
From this season, some of the ready-to-wear pieces in the Essentials will also be available in smaller sizes so as to give women the possibility of picking and choosing their favourite pieces from the wardrobe.
