Blackpink's Rosé launches a merch capsule featuring crewnecks, a tote bag and more inspired by her solo album, "-R-"
Fresh off the release of her highly-anticipated debut solo project, Rosé from the mega girl group, Blackpink, has also kicked off a merch capsule collection to celebrate the launch of her solo album, -R-.
The collection mostly includes crewnecks, one with a rose motif taken from Rosé's name, the other available in pink features the word "Gone", the title of one of her singles with a rose wrapped around it and the last piece has her name, Rosé at the top.
A T-shirt is also available with Rosé's picture, as well as a bucket hat and tote bag both simply designed with a single rose. The make-up bag also uses the rose motif as well as a quote from her song, On the Ground. Other than clothing and bags, a poster and folder from the solo album complete the collection.
-R- is released via YG Entertainment and Interscope Records, containing two powerful tracks written by the songstress: On the Round and Gone. The solo project has been teased for a while and finally arrived just months after Blackpink's full-length album debut, The Album on October 2.
The album debuted at number two at the Billboard 200, marking the biggest chart debut by an all-female group in lover 12 years. It also smashed the record of the highest first-week sales for a debut album for a K-pop group of all time, highlighting the meteoric impact of the girl group who is also an honouree of Tatler's Culture List 2021.
