First-time Grammy nominees, BTS have donated a set of outfits they wore in their "Life Goes On" music video for the Grammy Week auction, with proceeds going to the Grammy Museum Foundation
Hot off making history as the world's best-selling artists of 2020, K-pop superstars BTS have donated a set of outfits worn in their Life Goes On music video to the Grammy Week auction, taking place online from March 8–23. The auction is offered in partnership with Charitybuzz and proceeds will benefit the non-profit, Grammy Museum Foundation and its music education initiatives.
The donation from the mega pop group also comes after their outfits from the chart-topping hit Dynamite sold over eight times the original estimate at Julien Auction's MusiCares Charity Relief Auction. Proceeds from the auction benefited MusiCares, a charity providing aid to those working in the music industry impacted by Covid-19.
BTS are first-time Grammy nominees for Best Pop/Group Performance and the first-ever South Korean group to be nominated. The estimated value for the outfits is around US$150,000. The septet—RM, Jin, Suga, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook—wore the ensemble in the Life Goes On music video from their album BE. The group once again made history with the song debuting at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, the first song to debut that's predominantly not in English following the footsteps of the number one debut of their first all-English track, Dynamite.

The outfits for sale are mostly sleepwear, including pyjama sets from notable Korean brands. The comfortable and cosy ensemble reflects the song's message of togetherness during isolation as well as bringing comfort to people around the world amidst the pandemic. The group's leader, RM wore a smiley-print sweatshirt from Marni, checked pants from Atempo and Supreme x Lactose knitted beanie while Worldwide Handsome Jin wore a silk pyjama set in green from Atempo.
Genius rapper Suga also wore a green jumper but from Helmut Lang and checked pyjama pants from the Korean brand Atempo. BTS' sunshine J-hope donned an outfit featuring Gucci's Bichon embroidered T-shirt and Korean brand The Spring Home's Notting Hill robe in yellow. Meanwhile, BTS' mochi Jimin sported a Gucci Mad Cookies print T-shirt under his plaid pyjama from Korean brand Jo's Lounge and "Good Boy" V also wore an Iris Pyjama set from Jo's Lounge. Finally, the golden maknae Jungkook wore a Blue House pyjama set from Jo's Lounge.
In addition to BTS, other past Grammy winners and current nominees have donated items and experiences––including Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.
