The Love Bracelet

If you're still shopping for that special someone, Cartier's Love bracelet should be at the top of your list. A unisex item that was launched in 1969, its designer Aldo Cipullo wanted to create a piece of jewellery that would sit with the wearer week after week.

The Love bracelet is fitted on the wrist by a jeweller, and can only be removed with a screwdriver, which is as close to saying “I'll love you forever” as a piece of jewellery can get. Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor wore the matching gold bands on their wrists as a show of their love back in the 1970s, but as we all know, their bracelets eventually outlasted their famously volatile relationship.

If you're looking to lock someone in (figuratively or otherwise,) Cartier's Love bracelet is the way to go. And with a bracelet this beautiful, you’ll probably want to keep it on regardless of whether or not your relationship lasts.
