Fall in love with the French brand’s floral icon all over again with the new and oh-so-sophisticated B Blossom jewellery collection
From the extraordinary cherry blossom season that blooms into life in Kyoto each March, to the magnolias that coat the streets of Paris and London in April, Spring is a season that provokes delight, wonder, and a slew of candyfloss-coloured Instagram photos.
And then there is Louis Vuitton’s new B Blossom collection, which is almost as beautiful as the natural phenomenon it is named after—and that goes for the ambassadors and of course, the jewellery itself.
Sophie Turner of Game of Thrones fame has joined Zhong Chu Xi, Indya Moore, Chloë Grace Moretz and Signe Veitenerg in fronting Louis Vuitton’s latest, and prettiest, jewellery campaign. The gorgeous new B Blossom fine jewellery collection—the first from the house’s new ultra-glossy artistic director Francesca Amfitheatrof—centres on the star-shaped flower that made the brand famous two centuries ago.
Not only is it lovely to look at, it is also historic, as the original monogram design was created by Georges-Louis Vuitton in 1896, and has now been reimagined in the guise of a stylish, spherical stamp.
Recognisable for its pendants decorated with the blossom icon and illuminated by diamonds, the range includes rings, bracelets, cuffs, earrings, chain necklaces and pendants, and is both stylish and quintessentially French.
And playful. One of the most memorable and stylish ways to wear the deliciously colourful rings is to take a number of the individual pieces and stack them together, allowing the onyx, malachite, white agate, pink opal and diamonds—and pink and yellow gold bands—to glitter and glimmer together in harmony, creating the fiery colours of a desert sunset on your hand.
