In the run-up to the Hugo Boss fashion show in Shanghai, the atelier is running a large-scale digital campaign including a short film

A great collaboration of the creative have come together to produce a huge online, mobile and social media campaign prior to Hugo Boss’ May 30 fashion show in Shanghai.

The focus of the campaign is a film, titled Shanghai Affairs, shot exclusively for the upcoming show. Broadcasted in multiple episodes worldwide via all of the Hugo Boss social media channels, the film will portray a story of two individuals whose lives are interwoven by the fashion house’s Shanghai fashion show.

The film, shot exclusively in Shanghai, includes direction by photographer Noam Griegst and a soundtrack contributed by Danish music producer Anders Trentemøller. The episodes will also feature Taiwanese actress Lin Chiling and male supermodel Jon Kortajarena.

Following the release of the short films, the digital campaign will climax with a live screening of the fashion show itself, where, for the first time ever, viewers will be able to order outfits online directly from the catwalk, with the men’s and women’s looks featured in the film available only in limited editions of 100.
