Streetwear brand, Emotionally Unavailable will be popping up at K11 Musea from April 23 to May 23

Broken-hearted? Perhaps a shopping spree at Emotionally Unavailable’s pop-up shop can help mend your heart. The California-based streetwear brand by CLOT’s Edison Chen and designer KyuBum (KB) Lee has returned to the city after two years, bringing their latest collection to a motel room-themed showroom to K11 Musea.

Open from April 23 to May 23, the one-month pop up will be held at “Heartbreak Motel” themed showroom inside Room 520—a clever number play since 520 is commonly used as an abbreviation for “I love you” in Mandarin.

Behind the red-hued room 520 door, visitors will find a motel room with a bed dressed in bright red sheets, and scattered items staged around the room to make it look lived-in. A limited-edition Emotionally Unavailable x Medicom Toy Be@rbrick 1000% is also tucked inside the sheets, featuring a rosy transparent body and the streetwear brand’s signature glowing heart beating within.

The limited-edition Be@rbrick is sold on a first-come-first-serve basis, and visitors will have to spend HK$3,500 in-store during the entire pop-up period to be eligible to purchase the Be@rbrick.

On the other side of the room, a closet filled with Emotionally Unavailable’s new collection of graphic tees, hoodies, long sleeve shirts, as well as other limited edition collectables can also be found.

Made for the emotionally unavailable and streetwear fans everywhere, Emotionally Unavailable was started by Chen and Lee as a personal project after the two bonded over the shared feeling of being emotionally unavailable after their breakups. No matter what degree of emotional availability you are at, however, Emotionally Unavailable’s K11 Musea pop-up store will be open to all—regardless if you’re happily single, unhappily single, heartbroken or in a relationship.
