Emperor Jewellery Opens Flagship Store In Kuala Lumpur
Emperor Jewellery has opened its first flagship store in Malaysia, an expansive 2,012-square-foot store at the Pavillion Kuala Lumpur. The boutique showcases bespoke lines, as well latest pieces from Nuò by Cindy Yeung collection.
The name "Nuo" is the Putonghua pronunciation of a Chinese character in Cindy’s Chinese name, meaning “promise." The new collection is one of modern glamour—dazzling high-end pieces that have been designed to be worn in every day life, not locked in a safe to take out only for special occassions.
Cindy, who is also the chairperson and CEO of Emperor Watch and Jewellery, says of her latest collection: "Through Nuò, we also want to reinvent the way people see high jewellery. For the longest time—to this day, in fact—people think of high jewellery as things you bring out for balls or galas. We want to change that. We want to create high jewellery you can wear every day, thanks to designs that are contemporary and even edgy.”
Joining Cindy at the opening ceremony were the Malaysian Prime Minister's Special Envoy to China, Tan Kok Wai, Hong Kong pop star Joey Yung, and Malaysian celebrity couple Awal Ashaari and Scha Al-Yahya.
