In celebration of men’s fashion week, the Paris-based lifestyle store will host the Louis Vuitton Men’s Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection, which pays tribute to the late British artist and fashion designer, Christopher Nemeth

For the first time in Europe, Louis Vuitton is showcasing their entire menswear collection outside of their retail space. The entire upper-floor of Colette, the Rue Saint-Honoré hotspot that presents a curated collection of luxury lifestyle products in Paris, will be the venue to showcase Louis Vuitton Men’s Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection. The French maison’s latest men’s collection developed by Kim Jones pays tribute to Christopher Nemeth, the late (and great) British artist and fashion designer.

Inspired by Nemeth’s extensive archive of work, Jones has brought the artist’s heritage into 2015 by innovating new research into textiles and techniques, picking up on the famous ‘chord’ print as well as the Harajuku-spirited collection that greatly impacted Nemeth’s work whilst in Japan.

With special displays occupying all of Colette’s windows designed especially for this retail setting, onlookers and fashionistas are invited to discover and explore a new kind of Louis Vuitton trunk (a contemporary spin on the classic), along with a curated collection of ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories, and watches; plus a limited-edition Twister canvas shoe.

Jones summed it up nicely by explaining, “I’m really excited about the idea of collaborating with Colette on this beautiful project. It’s position at the crossroads of fashion and culture makes Colette the ideal place to celebrate Nemeth’s genius.”

The Louis Vuitton Men’s Autumn/Winter 2016 Collection will be available at Colette until July 18, 2015
