1. Maison Margiela x Gentle Monster
Gentle Monster is adding to its list of iconic collaborations, from Blackpink's Jennie to Moncler, with Maison Margiela. Known for its avant-garde simplicity infused with haute technicalities—from tabi boots to flip phones—Maison Margiela's creative director John Galliano is no stranger to being experimental.
In this collaboration, the retro style of sports sunglasses from the 1990s and 2000s have been revived in an 11-piece collection for men and women. To be launched on February 28, the modular goggle-style eyewear are packed in hand-stitched matelassé quilt packaging reminiscent of Maison Margiela's Glam Slam bags.
