Kristen Stewart is an actress whose reputation gives rise to polarising opinions, but there's one thing that's not up for debate: the star surely knows how to rock the red carpet her way

So many things have happened in the career of 31-year-old star Kristen Stewart. The actress first rose to stardom for her lead role as Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga film series and Young Snow White in Snow White and the Huntsman (2012). This year, Stewart embarks on a new and exciting journey: she will soon return to the big screens as the people's princess in Spencer.

Stewart has a way of making her plain white outfit stand out through intricate details and texture. During the premiere of Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk at the New York Film Festival last October 2016, the actress was seen wearing an asymmetrical Rodarte lace top with floral details and a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes.

Who would ever forget Stewart's daring stunt at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival? The actress rebelled against the event's "no flats policy" on her red carpet walk, she took off her black Christian Louboutin pumps and climbed the staircase barefoot.

In an interview, Stewart explained why she protested against the said rule. "Things have to change immediately,” she said "It’s just like you simply cannot ask me to do something that you are not asking him [to do]. I get the black-tie thing but you should be able to do either version—flats or heels."
