From new bag styles from all the top brands, to special, one-off partnerships, read on for Tatler’s edit of the best fashion drops that are making their way to stores this month.

Saint Laurent releases Denim collection

What: Launch of Denim collection

Why: Saint Laurent, the French luxury purveyor of all things cool, has launched its Denim collection, a capsule focused on the utilitarian (but no less chic) fabric. Roping in Hailey Bieber and Romeo Beckham, as well as several top models, the campaign gives us a glimpse of what’s in store: distressed denim jackets, a pants and boots combo dubbed the ‘pantaboots’, classic denim shirts, and raw-edged shorts. What’s more, the store will play host to photo booth for visitors to snap a shot while shopping the new collection.

When: Available from August 26 to September 5, 2021 at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands

Longchamp introduces the FW21 Brioche and Roseau bags

What: Launch of the FW21 Brioche and Roseau bags

Why: For fall/winter 2021, Longchamp is introducing updated versions of its quirky Brioche bag and the house classic, Roseau. The Brioche, named for the delicious French pastry, sees new colourways this season—powder-pink, dove-grey, a snakeskin-effect calf leather, and indigo cotton canvas with denim-style stitching. Meanwhile, the Roseau bag has been interpreted in different textures ranging from smooth calfskin, to glossy crocodile-print leather and suede, and the house’s LGP jacquard canvas. It’s the perfect way to bring a slice of Paris into your wardrobe this season.

Rimowa expands the Never Still collection

What: New additions to its Never Still collection

Why: Continuing on its expansion of its collection of everyday essentials, Rimowa has introduced two new styles to its Never Still collection. The new styles include the Never Still Crossbody Flap Bag, and the Never Still Tote, both available in classic and the seasonal summer colours—Mango and Cactus. The Crossbody Flap Bag is a versatile accessory that with adjustable straps, an external zipped pocket at the back, and a leather flap that is easily and securely fastened with a magnetic buckle; while the Tote is a roomy, functional and can be carried on the shoulder or held in hand.

Why: Trust Loro Piana to come up with the most luxurious sneakers we never knew we needed. The 360 Colorama Sneakers are the discreet luxury brand’s latest introduction, and they’re a veritable technical marvel. Weighing at just 360 grams (hence the name), the lightweight sneaker features an upper made of extra-fine merino wool—known for its supreme comfort and thermoregulating properties—and flexible non-slip technical soles. The sleek sneakers will come in a classic palette of blue, burgundy, brick and teal.

Celine introduces the Tabou bag

Why: Celine has launched a covetable new bag, just in time for the new season. Taking on the classic box shape, Hedi Slimane has given the Tabou a softer silhouette, with a lock detail and calfskin leather, and features accordion-like side gussets. Versatility is also key—the bag comes with a removable, adjustable leather strap, allowing wearers to wear it crossbody or simply as a clutch. It currently comes in two classic colourways: navy blue and tan.

Loewe launches exclusive Icons Gift Box

What: The Loewe Icons Gift Box

Why: What’s cute, collectible and sure to become a part of our wardrobes? Loewe’s new Icons Gift Box, which features five nano versions of its signature handbags—the Puzzle, Hammock, Gate, Flamenco and Balloon. In particular, the nano Hammock and Gate bags have been created exclusively for this gift box set. The bags come in Loewe’s iconic range of hues: yellow, primary red, lagoon, candy and rosemary. Bringing up its collectible value is the box itself, which pays tribute to Japanese kiribako containers and are handcrafted from paulownia wood, before being laser-engraved with the Loewe Anagram.

Burberry drops NFT collection in Mythical Games’ Blankos Block Party

What: An NFT collection with Mythical Games’ Blankos Block Party

Why: NFTs are the hottest thing right now, and Burberry is getting into the game (literally) with its new collaboration. The British brand is the first fashion label to feature in Blankos Block Party, a multiplayer party game featuring digital vinyl toys known as Blankos that live on a blockchain. For this collaboration, the brand created a limited- edition, limited-quantity Burberry Blanko—in the form of a shark named Sharky B featuring the TB Summer Monogram. What’s more, Burberry will launch its own branded in-game NFT accessories, including a jetpack, armbands and pool shoes, which players can apply to any Blanko they own. Rimowa launches the Essential Neon suitcase

What: The launch of the Essential Neon suitcase

Why: As if we needed another reason to update our suitcases (the possibility of regional travel being one of them), Rimowa has introduced the new Essential Neon suitcase that comes in Pink and Lime. While retaining the iconic exterior, the Essential Neon features a translucent polycarbonate shell, and will come with a complimentary trio of stickers with the phrases “Speed of Light” and “Dazzling,” as well as a shooting star.

When: Available from early August 2021 at selected Rimowa stores.
