The duo is doing this good deed to raise funds for Afghanistan Libre, a NGO providing humanitarian aid for women and children
Timothée Chalemet and Haider Ackermann have worked together previously, mostly for red carpets and film premieres, but this is the first time they’ve designed anything in tandem and better yet, for a charitable cause.
They released the HA+TC hoodie yesterday, and the motive is clearly very close to their hearts, as the pair have stated the 100% of the funds from purchases will go directly to the non-governmental organisation Afghanistan Libre.

This French charity has been fighting for women and children’s rights in Afghanistan since 1996, primarily facilitating opportunities for education and economic empowerment. Since the Taliban have seized control of the government, it’s been difficult for foreign aid to come into the country.
With the added difficulty of challenging environmental factors like the pandemic and a drought, the economy is on the brink of collapse, leaving marginalised groups and especially women in a difficult position, so the need to donate to on-the-ground groups is as important as ever.
