If you're been curious about what goes into Chanel's iconic pieces, you're in luck. The luxury fashion house is bringing their "Mademoiselle Privé" Exhibition to Hong Kong where visitors can discover its legendary history through an array of sensory stimulating installations. 

Guests enter through a replica of the Chanel facade at 31 Rue Cambon, the storied space where Gabrielle Chanel set up shop and entertained guests throughout her career, and into a red garden that pays tribute to avant-garde Russian artist Iliazd, who was a close friend of Gabrielle's.

The journey leads you to a stark, white box where you can delve into the creation of the signature Chanel N°5 fragrance, before heading up the stairs to discover the making of the fashion house's iconic silhouettes and fabrics including the tweed jacket and little black dress. 

Gabrielle Chanel's one and only 1932 high jewellery collection ‘Bijoux de Diamants' is revisited before the exhibition comes to a close with a screening of one of Karl Lagerfeld's short movies, Visite Nocturne. 

 The “Mademoiselle Privé” Hong Kong exhibition will be held at PMQ, 35 Aberdeen Street, Central from January 13 to February 10. Admission is free.
