First Look: YSL Beauty Hotel Pop-Up At 1881 Heritage

YSL Beauty is here with the cosmetics launch of the season. Following the highly successful debut of the YSL Beauty Hotel in Paris, Tokyo and Madrid, the five-star interactive experience has finally arrived in Hong Kong, set in the stylish surrounds of 1881 Heritage. With secret rooms, retro arcade games and the finest products YSL has to offer, there’s plenty to see and discover. Take a peek at five event highlights below:

1. Customised cosmetics

YSL are all about lending a personal touch, so it's no surprise they've included a custom-built “Lipstick Engraving ATM 2.0" machine at the event. Once you’ve selected your ideal shade and texture of lipstick, simply type your name into their touchscreen console, slip the lipstick into the allotted compartment, and watch as the machine works its magic in in a matter of seconds.

It's the perfect accessory or gift, and after all, that shade literally has your name on it.

2. Head in the game

YSL combine cutting-edge style with retro nostalgia for YSL Beauty Hotel. Set against a glamourous black and neon backdrop, enjoy a wide range of arcade games with a YSL twist, including “Volupté Darts” and “Black Opium Bowling” and “Encre De Peau Rainbow Toss”.

3. Makeover time

After a couple of questions about your personal tastes and colour palate preference, lean back, relax, and enjoy as your face gets pampered. It’s located in the Black Room, but we guarantee you'll leave feeling red carpet ready.

4. Model behaviour

It’s time for you to channel your inner model in the Pink Room—after your gorgeous makeover, of course—where you can take pictures with a YSL’s charming and handsome models with help from professional photographers. We can certainly think of worse ways to spend an afternoon.

If you fancy going solo with this shoot, head to the Black Room where you can be photographed riding a sleek motorcycle against a backdrop of Hong Kong's glittering skyline.

5. Bonus level

Before you leave, don’t forget to cash in on some exclusive YSL Beauty prizes. A QR card will be handed to you upon entry, and can be used to accumulate points as you play in the arcade.
