Stockholm Fashion Week kicks off with Filippa K

Sweden’s capital has become a fashion mecca for fashion’s normcore movement. The notion of simple chic is practically synonymous with the city for the brands’ streamlined, often minimalist approach to design. Some of our favourite looks from the week so far came from Filippa K- the buckled up cherry red biker jacket paired with straight legged khakis makes a case for reimagined wardrobe staples. 


Kristen Stewart to play Coco Chanel in a Karl Lagerfeld directed short film

Following in the footsteps of other muses of the house such as Keira Knightley and Geradine Chaplin, actress Kristen Steward is lined up to portray Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in a Lagerfeld directed film. The film will debut in December, at Chanel’s Métiers d'Arts show in Rome. Stewart has played characters from Snow White to Joan Jett – we’re certainly eager to see her portrayal of the revolutionary designer.


Uniqlo releases the entire lookbook for their collaboration with designer Christophe Lemaire

The Japanese retailer's collaboration with the former creative director of Hermès, Christophe Lemaire, is set to hit stores worldwide in early October. Uniqlo has just revealed the entire lookbook for both men and women this week- with 30 pieces for women and 25 for men- the assortment is of true Lemaire tradition- timeless and chic essentials in an array of neutral tones. 


Zara introduces e-commerce in Hong Kong

Online shoppers rejoice- Zara announces they will be introducing e-commerce to the city starting from September 9. With over 10 stores in Hong Kong, Zara will now be letting fashion fans shop on a new channel. Some may say they’re a little late on this, but better late than never I suppose?
