“Live Curiously” aims to bring the world of luxury and contemporary culture to life by way of intimate conversations

This September, Hong Kong-based luxury fashion retailer, JOYCE, has launched its own podcast. The JOYCE mantra—“live curiously”—will serve as the title for the series of conversations, which is poised to include some of the world’s most creative minds.

The concept for the series is simple: get a handful of influential—and international—fashion folk in a room and see what ideas and topics arise from intimate, inspired conversation. The brand hopes to evoke thought-provoking ideas and takeaways, while exploring personal understandings of identity, purpose, passion and motivation; something that has yet to be fully explored in the high fashion world.

“Further connecting our worldwide network of like-minded design, fashion & culture fans, we will go head-to-head with the most inspiring talents in the business,” the brand says on its Podtail page. “The illuminating and intimate conversations series will reach beneath fashion's facade, exploring creativity, care and craftsmanship both locally and globally.”

Featuring friends of the iconic brand, listeners can expect Live Curiously to cover international and local powerhouses in the industries of fashion and art.

Guests will range from big name fashion designers like Thom Browne and Joseph Altuzarra, to contemporary up-and-comers like Glenn Martens and the co-founders of Colville, while hosts include Peter Wong, Editorial Director for Vogue Hong Kong and Fashion Photographer Filep Motwary, among others.

Each episode will be supported by video footage and portraits, with cover artwork by Theseus Chan. Widely considered a “godfather of graphic design” and internationally recognised for his self-published magazine, WERK, Chan’s portfolio includes big name brands like Colette, Comme des Garçons and Gerhard Steidl.

The podcast launched last Friday on a range of platforms including Apple, Spotify, Radio Public, Breaker, and Google Podcast, with the option to download and really get into the JOYCE universe.
