The luxury beauty brand unveils a new product and improved Haute-Rejuvenation formula for its Platinum Rare Collection

Who, among us, wouldn’t drink from the fountain of eternal youth, given the chance? But unless the mythical fountain turns into a miraculous reality, the fountain's secrets may remain a fairy tale.

La Prairie offers the next best thing with its Platinum Rare Collection and its newest offering, the Platinum Rare Haute-Rejuvenation Protocol, a month-long treatment (designed to be used four times a year) to help recalibrate skin.

To celebrate the launch of the Platinum Rare Haute-Rejuvenation Protocol and the new, supercharged Haute-Rejuvenation formula, La Prairie hosted an event attended by Cara G, Amanda Strang, Feiping Chang, Janet Ma, Veronica Li, Nicola Cheung, Eleanor Lam, Antonia Li and Alison Chan El Azar, among others. Guests were treated to a debut audio performance of “A Dream of Eternity Since 1931”, recorded by actress Karena Lam, before embarking on a tour of La Prairie House, the first-of-its-kind brand residence.

The Platinum Rare collection was inspired by the moment two neutron stars collided to produce platinum. The rare metal then made its way to earth in a meteor shower, some 3.5-billion years ago. It was this moment that piqued the interest of scientists at Clinique
La Prairie, when time, according to Albert Einstein’s theory of relativity, would have passed more slowly.

This suspension in time was the creative spark behind the Haute-Rejuvenation formula used in La Prairie’s Platinum Rare collection, a formula that targets the various processes within the dermis that are responsible for rejuvenating skin cells, and regularly activates the processes to beat back signs of aging.

Not content to rest on its laurels, La Prairie recently upgraded its Haute-Rejuvenation formula. Including the Platinum Multi-Peptide—a combination of potent peptides fused with platinum—along with the patented Exclusive Cellular Complex, the formula encourages the renewal of stem cells at both the epidermis and deeper dermis levels of the skin. The two magic ingredients also work together to help to strengthen the skin and protect it against external stress factors such as pollution.

The latest product, the Platinum Rare Haute-Rejuvenation Protocol, is made up of three vials, each containing enough formula to be used day and night for 10 days. The serum helps to restore, smooth and tighten skin—refining texture, helping to promote an even tone, greater elasticity and a natural, youthful glow—a glow-up supplement to the Platinum Rare collection and its daily skincare ritual.
