The founder of Lala Curio celebrates a collaboration with Clé de Peau Beauté this month with bespoke artwork created for the release of the brand’s Rose Synactif collection. She shares her inspirations and top beauty tips below:
What inspired your collaboration with Clé de Peau Beauté?
With the artisanal approach that we specialise in at Lala Curio, we created a piece of art for launch event of Clé de Peau Beauté’s Rose Synactif collection at Caprice. We used hand-embroidered and embellished silk table linen, and a series of hand-painted watercolour drawings, intertwined with a rich vegetation of ferns and leaves.
What is your favourite Clé de Peau Beauté product and why?
The foundation and concealer. I grew up with it and cannot go a day without. It makes your skin glow to perfection on a good day or bad.
Talk us through your skincare regime.
I believe diet and lifestyle are also key, and I learnt a lot through Mind Body Green and their health conference I went to recently. My skincare regime has literally been using the full set of Clé de Peau Beauté products since I was a teenager, the only products my mother would use. My sister and I got the first dibs thanks to Mum.
What’s the one beauty product that every woman should have and why?
Lipstick, because it brings colour out of you.
What’s the best beauty hack you’ve learnt?
Celery juice in the morning on an empty stomach.
