The second day of LFW sees us at Henry Holland, Issa and the Shopbop after-party

We take you to the shows of Zoe Jordan and Sass & Bide and more at London Fashion Week for S/S 2013: Day One.

Henry Holland:

With a tie-dyed iPhone case cover as the invitation, we always suspected that Henry Holland’s was going to be a show with a difference. Set in a dingy carpark in the middle of Soho, the 90's inspired collection poured out. Having always designed for the uber-cool stylish girl, Holland’s S/S 2013 definitely did not disappoint. He gave us rebellious style and fashion edge while iconic 90's tunes blasted from the speakers. Shapes took a relaxed and loose vibe with the most intense explosion of tie-dyed prints. Big shadow checks, super luxe metallic jackets put a smile on every cool girl that sat on front row, which naturally included Alexa Chung, Peaches Geldof, Poppy Delevingne and Kelly Osbourne. It was definitely a colour-popping retro futuristic experience.

Issa:

Reputed to be the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite brand, Issa's show opened with the tweeting of birds on Saturday. With orchids delicately placed in the models’ hair, they almost resembled birds from  paradise flying down the catwalk. Bold jewelled colours (think zesty orange, canary yellow and pink raspberry ), maxi gowns and jumpsuits, short flirty dresses adorned the catwalk. But the most stunning spectacle were the two finale billowing silk dresses that had hand-painted exotic floral designs. We really loved the playful oversized pelican designs which was a successful nod to her South American upbringing.

Shopbop Party:

Partying with Maria Grachvogel and Lara Bohinc we found ourselves at the Shopbop Re launch party at the newly finished Neo Bankside Residences. With Alice Dellal in the DJ booth and a constant supply of cocktails and canapés we were all set to go. Hosted in a huge apartment, each bedroom had a different designer showcasing their new collections. What more could a girl want – eat, drink, shop and be merry!

Issa After-Party:

And then it was on to the Issa after-party, co hosted by New York man-about-town Derek Blasberg and held at the newly opened LouLou's Private Club at 5 Hertford Street. Light, bright, glittering, effulgent and decadent – no one looked out of place in the 70's inspired glasses placed on each table. Guests included Eugenie Niarchos, Camilla Al – Fayed, Tatiana Santo Domingo and Dasha Zhukova.
