Learn more about Louis Vuitton's Tambour Chronograph LV277

This colourful version of the Louis Vuitton Tambour is really something special. The brand’s iconic Tambour case, which is named after the French word for “drum”, has been around since 2002, and it has since been released in numerous variants that house a number of complications.

The brand’s iconic monogram, which was one of fashion’s first logos, is designed into the watch’s elegant bridgework. A white alligator strap is elevated by a white gold folding buckle.

41.5

Have you not heard? Bigger is better. And at 41.5 mm, the Tambour Chronograph LV277 is an oversized watch that fellow collectors won’t be able to help but notice. Made from 18-karat white gold, it’s also bright and glossy—what more could you want?

The Tambour Chronograph LV277 has a power reserve of 50 hours.

Colour

Louis Vuitton has long brought a vibrancy and energy to the age-old tradition of watchmaking. Not for the faint of heart, the Tambour Chronograph LV277 is splattered with 58 coloured sapphires and 554 diamonds, which total five carats and seamlessly frame a decadent mother-of-pearl centre.

277

This watch is powered by the Calibre LV277, which is a mechanical movement complete with automatic winding. It was developed and is assembled in-house at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton.
