3 Luxurious New Watch And Jewellery Boutiques To Visit In Hong Kong
1/3Audemars Piguet’s AP House
Picture your perfect apartment. Somewhere beautifully designed, no doubt, with the comfort and warmth of home and an injection of serious style. Well, imagine no more, as Audemars Piguet has created the contemporary private apartment of dreams on Queens Road Central, where valued clients can relax, reflect, connect or disconnect, all while experiencing the team’s impeccable hospitality.
This includes champagne and snacks (what perfect home doesn’t have those on tap?) and a range of Audemars Piguet products to try on at leisure. When can we move in?
2/3Harry Winston’s Mandarin boutique
The Mandarin Oriental has been at the heart of Hong Kong life since the 1960s—and stepping into the cool, black-and-white lobby is to relish a world of low ceiling fans, doormen dressed in scarlet and complimentary afternoon scones with rose jam. So it's no surprise that the House of Harry Winston, the legendary “king of diamonds,” chose to site its second Hong Kong boutique in this hotel.
To celebrate the opening, Hollywood starlet Kate Hudson popped over to Hong Kong to cut the ribbon and wander through the dazzling displays. Designed to evoke the glamorous estates of upstate New York, the new salon has already welcomed some of the house’s finest diamonds and rarest gemstones—lunch at Café Causette just got a bit more exciting.
A collaborative project between Chow Tai Fook Jewellery and the Chow Tai Fook Art Foundation, this is a pop-up with grand designs on shaping the future. Located centrally in PMQ, Loupe aims to aid the next generation of jewellery designers through a mentoring programme headed by the experts from Chow Tai Fook Jewellery.
The space also has an elegant boutique where pieces created by the maison’s in-house craftsmen, designers-in-residence and up-and-coming jewellery designers are sold. Slated as a hub for jewellery lovers and designers, Loupe is making its mark by raising awareness of art and design in the world of jewellery, and providing a tasteful and relaxed environment in which Hongkongers can explore their passion for all things pretty.
