After ten months of waiting, the new Nike x sacai VaporWaffle sneakers will be officially released on November 6

The Nike x sacai Vaporwaffle collaboration first made its appearance this January at sacai’s FW20 runway at Paris Fashion Week and since then, fans have been eager for updates. Set to be released on November 6 on Nike.com, with lucky draw submissions opening on November 2, sneaker fans will finally be able to get their hands on the highly-anticipated Nike x sacai VaporWaffle.

The shoe hybrid combines two of Nike’s signature silhouettes: the Vaporfly––with the new version of these sneakers so high-tech that the sport’s governing body banned them from the Olympics––and the 1983 Pegasus running shoes.

While more colourways will be released in the coming months, this week's drop includes a clean white, fuchsia, royal blue and black pair, along with a striking black and white colourway.

Channelling sacai founder, Chitose Abe’s experimental aesthetic and staying true to the collaboration’s signature double-stacked design, the Nike x sacai VaporWaffle features double Swooshes, tongues, stacked laces and the same beloved extended sole with mesh, suede and leather detailing.

Other Nike and sacai collaborations that are set to be released later this year and into 2021 include a purple and orange Vaporwaffle; tan, navy and white Vaporwaffle; and Nike Blazer low-top kicks in medium grey, green and white, as well as a white, magma orange and white.

Long-time fans who weren’t able to get a pair of last year’s Nike x sacai LDwaffles sold-out collaboration, this is your chance.

The Nike x sacai VaporWaffle in both colourways are set to be released on November 6 on Nike.com with lucky draw only. Submissions for lucky draw begins on November 2 and each pair is expected to retail at HK $1,299.
