Hot Line: Prada’s Linea Rossa Collection Makes A Comeback This Season
For those who have been devoted Prada fans since the late '90s, the iconic sport line by the Italian label may jog your memory. First debuted in 1997, Linea Rossa is arguably the first venture into athletic wear by any luxury house.
Miuccia Prada gained fame in the '90s with cult-favourite utilitarian black nylon bags, and the sporty line of casual ready-to-wear, footwear and accessories followed seamlessly. All Linea Rossa items are marked with a distinctive red stripe logo, which can be spotted on the edge of a cuff or the back of a heel.

After the quiet discontinuation of the line in the early 2000’s, Prada has relaunched Linea Rossa this season and introduced some easy-to-wear accessories and contemporary clothing.
A nylon bucket hat (available in an array of colours, from black and white to shocking pink and neon green) and sporty sunglasses in sleek shapes are amongst some of the highlights, while outerwear comes in the form of parkas, hooded jackets, all crafted from high-tech fabrics and designed with zips, fastens and hoods to support any outdoor adventures in any kind of climate or season.
